Biography

Introduction

With 30 years of experience in photography, I have provided specialized training to professional photographers — covering

shooting and lighting, Photoshop, retouching, and final print production. My deep expertise in Color Management has led to

technical consulting roles with image quality research institutes and printer, monitor, and color-related companies. I am

the only developer in Korea capable of producing approximately 30 types of camera test charts, including DR charts and

Reference Color charts, commissioned by research institutes.

Over the past decade, I have shifted my focus from commercial work to conceptual art — encompassing object-based

photography, staged imagery, and environmental Land Art.

국.내외 프로페셔널 사진가를 대상으로 촬영 및 조명부터 포토샵, 리터칭, 최종 프린트까지 전문가를 대상으로

수많은 전문적 사진 기술 교육을 하고 있으며, Color Management 분야에 특화된 이해도와 기술력으로 국.내외 화질 연구소 및

프린터.모니터.컬러 관련 회사에 다양한 기술 자문과 카메라 테스트 차트 (DR 차트, Reference Color chart등...)

약 30여종을 연구소의 의뢰를 받아 제작할 수 있는 국내 유일한 개발자이다.

그외 상업 사진 활동은 인테리어 촬영, 표준 영정(단종, 권율, 궁예) 영인본 촬영 및 제작이다.

사진 경력은 30년이며 10년 전부터 상업 사진보다 오브제, 연출사진, 환경 Land Art등 개념 미술에 주안을 두고 작업하고 있다.
