작가 머리말
맑은 어느 날,
북쪽 하늘을 오래 바라보고 있다.
구름도 없고, 경계도 없이, 다만 하나의 색으로 가득한 하늘이다.
그 앞에서 생각은 단순해졌다.
사유는 늘 무언가를 더하려는 데서 시작된다.
그러면 사유는 복잡해 진다.
그러나 가장 단순한 생각은 더하지 않는다.
하나의 색, 하나의 면, 하나의 시선.
단색은 형태도 서사도 지우고 오직 색 그 자체로 존재한다.
아름다운 것은 군더더기가 없다.
Artist's Note
On a clear day,
I gaze long at the northern sky.
No clouds, no boundaries — only a sky filled with a single color.
Before it, thought grows simple.
Thinking always begins by trying to add something.
And so thinking grows complicated.
But the simplest thought adds nothing.
One color, one surface, one gaze.
Monochrome erases form and narrative, existing only as color itself.
What is beautiful carries no excess.
