곁에 있던 그가 삶을 마쳤다
빛도 어둠도 없는 시간들을 보냈다
스스로 죽은 자들을 나는 부러워했다
그때는 그랬다
어느 날,
어딘가,
어디에 있었다
바람은 차갑게 불었다
그때 알았다
나는 특별하지 않기에
어떤 일도 일어 날 수 있다는 것을
다시 어느 날,
다시 어딘가,
다시 어디에 있었다
바람은 포근하게 불었다
내 옆에 풀들이 많았다
살아 있는 풀들이 많았다
그만큼 죽은 풀들도 많았다
그때 알았다
“죽음은 흔한 것이다”
